Schooling Guardian wins at journalism awards

Training Guardian writer Louise Tickle has won this year’s CIPR award for Nationwide Education Journalism for her report on these pages about considerations more than how Ofsted inspects children’s security in college. Runner-up was Janet Murray for yet another Schooling Guardian post, on problems in children’s psychological overall health companies.

In the Colleges Journalism category, Dorothy Lepkowska was runner-up for her post on the “disappearance” of headteachers after poor Ofsted reports. From the Guardian’s professional networks, Abby Youthful-Powell won Most Promising Newcomer and Claire Shaw was runner-up for Larger Training Journalism.
