Seattle Colleges Accidentally Leaks Thousands of Pupil Records

Seattle Public Colleges is at the moment investigating how 1000’s of student particular education data containing personal info were leaked to the public.

Nyland explained the law firm has been allow go, and the district is “functioning to guarantee that all improperly released records are retrieved or destroyed.”

The school district is suing Samuel Morley, hoping that performing so will force him to destroy the documents pertaining to in excess of seven,400 students.

Although most of the information pertained to special training students, Nyland mentioned that some details could have impacted thousands more students.

“We received confirmation yesterday that the person offered the court with certification that the documents have been deleted and the personal possesses no copies, electronic or otherwise,” Nyland explained in the statement Tuesday.
