York Vision wins newspaper of the yr at Guardian Pupil Media awards

The University of York’s York Vision was crowned newspaper of the year at the Guardian Pupil Media awards 2014.

The 26–year–old title beat its campus rival, Nouse, to win the prestigious award for the sixth time given that 2000.

The prize was presented at a ceremony at Guardian headquarters in London on Thursday night, hosted by the broadcaster Rick Edwards.

It was a profitable evening for the University of York in an additional class, as pupil Patrick Greenfield won the reporter of the yr prize and James Tyas came runner-up in the critic of the 12 months award, which was won by Cambridge University’s Cal Revely–Calder.
